Hello and welcome to A Starlight Night! My name is Sherly and this blog is dedicated to everything I am interested in. I will probably end up blogging mostly about Kpop and KDrama as I spend most of my day doing things related to those.

I have been a fan of Korean music since late 2008 (my friend and I set the 1st of January 2009 as our “KPop birthday,” though). My first group was Super Junior and my first ever bias in the Korean entertainment industry was Kim Heechul. Since then, I have stanned so many groups/artists and my current favorites are NU’EST, Wanna One, Seventeen, and Jung Sewoon. My ultimate bias is Hwang Minhyun.

I love singing and dancing. At one point in my life, I wanted to become a KPop star. Haha. But I got discouraged when one company rep said I was too small/short. I lost my confidence and before I knew it, I already became too old to debut. I still dream to perform on stage someday, though.

Because of my interest in Kpop, I started learning the Korean language. Although I started learning years ago, I’m still so bad at it. At this point, I should be near fluent already but I’m still stuck in between the beginner and intermediate level ㅠ
